Sketchbook 1

Will attempt to pick up drawing again. I'm dying to do anything but anime stylized things, but it's very difficult to break away. It kills me that there are and always will be hints of the style in my sketches. (Could you tell how hard I was trying in the lower left corner? Dern.)

I've found that it's very refreshing to draw with a pencil, rather than a mechanical pencil. The mechanical pencil will sometimes come out looking sloppier than it should on days I just don't have the patience to darken areas properly. A regular pencil will give me a thick line quality that fills details in a quick, toon-like manner. I like it. :)

College is no excuse not to act like a doofus.
